▶ Design Concept

Located in suburban Australia, this project is designed around the concept of seamless indoor-outdoor living. Large-scale glazing systems maximize natural light and landscape integration, creating a bright and open spatial experience. The design combines minimalist architecture with warm wood finishes and black aluminum framing.

The window and door systems feature high-performance thermally broken aluminum profiles with double glazing, ensuring excellent thermal insulation, airtightness, and water resistance. Large opening configurations enhance natural ventilation and spatial continuity.

Entrance & Foyer

The entrance features a hinged door system combined with fixed side glass panels, creating a transparent and well-defined entry space. The door is constructed with high-strength aluminum framing and double safety glazing, ensuring both structural integrity and visual clarity.

A low-threshold design enhances accessibility and aligns with universal design considerations commonly adopted in U.S. housing. An integrated concealed drainage system effectively manages water infiltration, making the system suitable for diverse U.S. climate conditions, from coastal regions to colder northern areas.

▼ Bedroom

The bedroom continues the overall design language, featuring large window openings that maximize natural light and outdoor views, creating a calm and comfortable living environment. The space is equipped with an awning window system, allowing ventilation even during rain while preventing water ingress—ideal for Australia’s variable weather conditions.

The window system delivers high airtightness for improved acoustic insulation and privacy. An optimized drainage design ensures efficient water management and long-term durability.

The windows are fitted with the HS008 handle system, featuring an ultra-slim, streamlined profile. It offers a refined modern appearance along with smooth operation and reliable performance, achieving a balance between aesthetics and functionality.

The upper-level living room utilizes corner glazing and large operable windows to maximize views and natural ventilation. The corner window without a visible mullion enhances spatial openness and architectural impact.

The window system is engineered for large openings, ensuring structural strength, wind resistance, and long-term durability. provide ventilation while maintaining weather protection, improving usability and comfort.

The kitchen features an open-plan layout directly connected to the outdoor deck through large sliding glass doors, enhancing spatial flow and transparency. Slim-profile aluminum frames maximize glass area while maintaining structural integrity.

The sliding system is equipped with heavy-duty rollers and multi-point locking, ensuring smooth operation and strong sealing performance under Australian climate conditions. Low-E glazing improves thermal efficiency and reduces heat transfer.
